Today I wanted to post about the sherbert dip trend because it is definitely one that I think is interesting. A few days ago I caught up with another friend of mine and ended up going shopping again! I was in control of my shopping urge; I only picked up the military shirt from a previous Ally fashion post, a gold chain necklace to pair it with from Cotton On, a neon green statement necklace, assorted twisty ties, a cat ears headband and a floral pencil case for uni from Sportsgirl. You guys will definitely be seeing these soon. Okay on to the items (images always taken from original website);

Dress in dip dye with lace trim
$AU 24.99
I really love the color burgundy, I think it's gorgeous and flattering and the dip-dye design on this dress makes it an unique piece. I would probably wear this to the beach with black sandals and a black fedora. To dress it up you could go for leather look leggings or black stockings, ankle booties and a blazer or leather jacket.

Dress in rayon with dip dye $AU 24.99 This dress also comes in the same color variation above but I am leaning towards this military-esque color scheme.As we have seen in shops at the moment, evidently military and khaki is a big trend. I like the colors for the simple reason that it looks great with gold accessories That being said I would pair it with a fun pair of shoes, statement gold necklace peeking out from under the collar and a delicate gold bracelet.

Sun dress in tye dye print $AU 29.99 In my eyes this dress is very Malibu Barbie, but I kind of love it. It is a halter neck which is one of the most flattering dress styles and the print is funky and fun. I personally would love to try and edge up the look with of course my go-to black ankle booties, leather jacket and black and white skull scarf perhaps? |
